Entrance requirement:FPS 1 HL isiXhosa Course description:This course is aligned to the school curriculum. The course draws from the FPS 1 IsiXhosa HL course and it seeks to develop First Language (HL) beginner teachers who are knowledgeable about language issues in South Africa and proficient, competent and capable of promoting HL teaching that is accessible, real, inclusive and meaningful to all learners. It develops students’ knowledge and proficiency in HL to support teaching and learning in other subjects in the curriculum.
