FACULTY OF EDUCATION
Purpose
Foundation Stage teachers who wish to further specialize in FP Literacy teaching and are already qualified to teach at Foundation Stage, having successfully completed a professional BEd or PGCE, an initial three-year Diploma in Education offered by former Schools of Education or a National Professional Diploma in education at NOK level 5. Heads of department at the primary stage and subject advisers at the primary stage who are already qualified to teach at the primary stage and wish to strengthen their specialization in teaching FP literacy to provide teachers with professional guidance on how to teach reading and writing at the primary stage.
